Decks of Distinction
Outdoor Living & Decking Website Design
Decks of Distinction has been building outdoor living spaces in Nassau County since 1981 – decks, patios, and custom builds delivered directly by the owner. The craftsmanship is real. The website situation when they came to Yellowfin was not.
The domain had been lost entirely. Yellowfin tracked it down and reacquired it through a domain reseller escrow process on the client’s behalf – the kind of unglamorous, tedious work that most developers won’t touch but that had to happen before anything else could. With the domain secured, the site was rebuilt from scratch using the owner’s own photography and content, organized around the services and work that actually sells a decking company: what they build, what it looks like, and how to get a quote.
The result was a clean, visual site that let the quality of the work speak for itself – exactly what a 40-year-old Nassau County trade business needed to compete online.

Our Work
Decks of Distinction is one of nearly three decades of client projects. The portfolio covers small business sites, nonprofit builds, ecommerce stores, and everything in between – across industries, budgets, and project types. If you see something that looks like what you need, that’s where the conversation starts.
Every project is scoped individually. No packages, no guesswork – just a straight conversation about what you need and what it will take to build it right.
