Hosting and Email You Never Have to Think About

Hosting and Email

Done right, this is the part of your business you forget exists. Your site loads, your email sends, the updates happen, and you never get the call that something’s down. That quiet is the whole product.

We host the sites we build and plenty we didn’t, on managed WordPress hosting that’s kept fast, current, and secure. No login to some hosting company’s dashboard, no support ticket into a void. Something’s wrong, you call the person who runs it.

And the email that comes with it is your own: you@yourbusiness.com, set up, migrated, and managed, so your business stops sending mail from a Gmail or Yahoo address. Hosting keeps the site up. Email keeps you reachable. We handle both.

Your Website Is More Than Just a Website

The Work Is Invisible When It's Done Right

Our Approach

Most people only think about hosting on the day it fails: the site’s down, an order didn’t go through, an email bounced, and now it’s an emergency. Good hosting is the opposite of that. It’s the days you never notice, stacked one after another. The updates went in. The certificate renewed. Nothing happened, on purpose.

That quiet takes somebody paying attention. Software ages, plugins fall out of date, and an outdated site is how most hacks get in. We keep ours current so they stay fast and stay safe, and we watch them so small problems don’t become big problems. You run your business. We keep the lights on.

Hosting, Domains, Email: What's What

The Simple Version

After years of explaining this, here’s the breakdown I land on. Picture your website as a house. These are the four pieces that put it somewhere people can actually find it.

Your Website Is the House

The thing people came to see: your pages, your photos, your offer. It’s what we design and build.

Hosting Is the Land

Your house has to sit somewhere. Hosting is the lot it’s built on, the space that keeps it standing and online.

Your Domain Is the Address

yourbusiness.com is the street address people type to find you. No address, and nobody knows where to pull up.

Email Is the Phone Line

How people reach you once they’ve found you. (Showing my age with that one, but it still lands.)

The good news: you don’t have to keep any of it straight. We handle the house, the land, the address, and the phone line, all from one place.

Wondering why hosting prices swing from a few dollars to a few hundred? It comes down to who you share a server with. We get into that here: how the neighborhood effect impacts your site. See full pricing.

Email

Stop Sending Business Email From a Gmail Address

When a quote comes in from yourbusiness@gmail.com or, worse, an old aol.com address, it plants a small doubt before the customer’s even read it. A branded address, you@yourbusiness.com, does the opposite: it looks like a real, established business, and it keeps your work email out of the same inbox as your personal mail.

We set it up, migrate what’s there, and configure it on your phone and your computer so it just works. You handle the part you care about, reading and sending. We handle the technical part, which is everything else. Forget a password or get a new phone, you call us, and it’s sorted.

Every mailbox comes with a webmail login and full setup details for any device, so you’re never locked out and never guessing at settings. See our email login and setup page.

What You're Actually Paying For

What’s Handled

Hosting is more than a place to park your files. It’s the upkeep that keeps the site fast, safe, and online. Here’s what runs in the background while you’re not thinking about it.

Security and SSL

Every site ships with an SSL certificate and gets watched for trouble. Google favors secure sites, and so do the customers who see the lock in the bar.

Updates and Maintenance

WordPress, plugins, and themes kept current, because an out-of-date site is the most common way trouble gets in. We stay ahead of it.

Speed and Uptime

Hosting tuned for WordPress so pages load fast and stay online, because a slow or down site costs you customers before they ever see it.

Business Email

Mailboxes at your own domain, set up and migrated for you, and configured on every device so it works the day you need it.

Domains and DNS

Domain registration and the DNS behind it, handled for you, so the wiring that points people to your site is one less thing on your plate.

A Real Person on Support

No ticket queue, no hold music, no offshore script. You reach the person who runs your hosting, and on anything urgent, you call directly.

Paying Too Much for Hosting? Send Us the Bill.

The Bill Test

A lot of businesses are paying for hosting and maintenance and couldn’t tell you what they’re getting for it. Renewal rates creep up, a “maintenance” line item sits on the invoice doing nothing, and switching feels like more trouble than it’s worth. It usually isn’t. If you’re on a site builder, the sticker price often hides the real cost: what Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy, and Shopify don’t tell you.

Send us a copy of your current hosting and maintenance bill and we’ll tell you straight whether we can do better, on price, on what’s actually included, or both. If you’re already getting a fair deal, we’ll tell you that too. Moving a site to us is something we do all the time, and we handle it without your site going dark. Long Island Hosting

Common Questions

FAQ

Do I have to host with you to work with you?

No. We build sites and host elsewhere when that’s what makes sense. But most clients hand us hosting too, because it means one person owns the whole thing, and when something’s off there’s no finger-pointing between the host, the developer, and you.

Which hosting plan do I need?

Most small business sites run perfectly on the $35 shared plan. The $100 premium plan is for online stores and high-traffic sites that need the extra speed, uptime, and staging. Not sure? Tell us about your site and we’ll point you to the one that fits, not the one that bills more. If you’re curious why shared and premium perform differently, the neighborhood effect explains it.

Can you move my site and email from another host?

Yes, and we do it without your site or email going dark. We set everything up on our side first, test it, then switch it over. Most migrations are invisible to your visitors and your inbox. Send us where things live now and we’ll handle the move.

What does business email cost, and what do I get?

Six dollars a month per mailbox, with setup and migration included. You get email at your own domain, you@yourbusiness.com, configured on your phone and computer. We handle the technical side and you reach a real person if anything goes wrong. Setup details and login are here.

My email isn't working. What do I do?

Don’t wait on a form. Call 1-516-667-7886 directly. For setup help, password resets, and device settings, the email page has step-by-step instructions and the server settings for any device.

I'd rather host it myself. Can you point me the right way?

Sure. We’re a WP Engine agency partner and work with several large hosting and domain platforms, so even if you want to run it yourself, we can steer you to the right setup and help you get it configured properly. Tell us what you’re after.
