Michelle Maggio, LAc, MS has been practicing acupuncture and herbal medicine in Merrick, New York since 2002 – a certified Diplomate of Acupuncture with the NCCAOM, graduate of the New York College of Wholistic Health Education and Research, and a practitioner with over two decades of documented success treating everything from infertility and fibromyalgia to sports injuries, migraines, and chemotherapy side effects. She built a thriving practice entirely on word of mouth. She had never had a website.
Yellowfin built one. The site is structured around how a new patient actually evaluates an acupuncturist – what conditions are treated, what the experience is like, whether insurance is accepted, where the office is, and how to make contact. Every one of those questions has a clear answer. Six major insurance carriers are listed including Empire, United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, Northwell Direct, and No-fault. Services are laid out with plain-language descriptions so a patient who has never tried acupuncture understands exactly what they’re walking into. A photo gallery shows the actual treatment rooms – private, calm, and professional.
Alongside the site build, Yellowfin delivered a local SEO and directory submission plan to get the practice in front of patients searching for acupuncture in Merrick and across Nassau County. Michelle is a long-standing Yellowfin client – the site has been updated and maintained continuously since launch and remains her primary online presence for new patient acquisition.
